About 1'380 different organisations in Switzerland, thereof 1'080 companies have been active in the two EU programs FP7 (2007-2013) and the 50% higher Horizon 2020 (2014-2020). For each user in Switzerland participations and updated public means in T EURO are shown, in particular also direct payments for companies in the million range. A characteristic of the 9'164 Swiss participations is that just ca. 20 organisations dominate all others.
Direct grants of total 4'868 million EURO have been committed so far to Swiss participants, the average support increased from 455 to 606 T EURO per participation. Unfortunatly participations in H2020 are just marginally higher than in in FP7. The regional distribution remains similar as in the last 20 years with the Zurich and the Romandie region as leaders but many Cantons without a major benefit.
